Hong Kong: Asia Top Gallery Hotel Art Fair ’11
This year’s edition will host more than 70 premier galleries from Asia, featuring over 3,000 works by leading Asian and international artists. Artwork will range in price from US$300 to US$500,000, enabling both experienced collectors and first-time buyers to participate in the Fair.
AHAF is traditionally held in an unconventional venue, displaying artwork in hotel rooms ratherthan in white cubes or on white walls. Situated on multiple floors of a luxury hotel, the exhibitiontakes place in the hotel rooms, with paintings placed on the bed, windowsills, and walls andsculptures installed in the bathtub. This concept enables art lovers and collectors to imagine the artwork displayed in their own homes.
